The Proposal
The students' ideas for arresting this global crisis coalesce in raising people's consciousness.
It is with this in mind that their focus on THE GREEN REVOLUTION would take the form of A MAJOR PUBLIC
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN entitled
“Green Alert! Sowing The Seeds to Save the Earth”
Campaign Major Objectives
- To educate the public of the severityand magnitude of global environmental degradation - global warming and climate change, and the impact on Sea Level Rise / Costal Erosion, Agriculture, Human Health, Water Conservation, Management of Resources and impacts on Tourism.
- To sensitize the public of the urgency with which this problem needs to be addressed with the hope of removing indifference.
- To formulate and implement a STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN for combatting the crisis of environmental degradation.
